Product Marketing Manager, Games
(Note: we’re flexible on the title, based on your skills and experience)
Are you independent, self-motivated, and experienced in the world of marketing? Interested in the rapid growth of the free-to-play (F2P) mobile gaming industry? Have experience managing a team? If you’re up for a challenge, we may have the job for you.
Kano is looking for an analytically-minded Growth Marketer to help us grow our F2P social and mobile games.
You will be collaborating with a multifunctional team (product, development, and marketing) to grow the games through initiatives such as:
Online paid acquisition
Product enabled growth plan
Cross-promotional strategies between Kano games/apps
PR and social media
App store optimization (ASO)
What you will be doing:
Identify, analyze and share market trends to position and shed light new opportunities
Develop marketing plans that drive market interest and generate demand through integrated campaigns
Collaborate with the Creative team to drive high conversion rates with respect to paid and organic marketing initiatives
Conduct competitive analysis, and gather market insights
Drive go-to-market tactics, and be the leader for new product or feature launches
Develop, implement and measure the result of comprehensive marketing plans aligned with overall growth and revenue goals of the business
Drive product growth and adoption by setting goals and establishing scalable and repeatable systems for experimentation
Work with product and customer success teams to gather feedback from players to further identify opportunities for growth
Manage a small team (Digital Marketer, Brand Marketer, and Marketing Graphic Designer) and keep stakeholders in the loop by reporting results, findings, new plans, etc.
Collaborate regularly with product management to provide market or internal input on feature and product requirements to improve downstream product performance

Experience that would help you succeed:
Success working under your own initiative in demanding, fast-paced, changing environments
Running experiments that you have never tried before with the ability to use data gathered from your experiments to draw conclusions
Proven success scaling apps from zero users to levels of meaningful adoption and growth
Understanding of paid and organic search tactics, social media, video marketing, and the ability to learn new skills quickly
2+ years experience in marketing or product marketing, preferably in the B2C space
2+ years of Facebook media buying
Social media and email marketing experience
SEO / ASO optimization experience
A good understanding of the mobile gaming market
